AINA is delighted to announce the AINA Educational exchange zoom session this Sunday, June 28th.
The goal of the research exchange is to foster collaboration between AINA members, generate new ideas and to facilitate new research grants, publications and knowledge.
The Sessions being presented are by Dr. Uttara Koul, MD: Neurointensivist, St. Vincent’s Medical Center, CT & Assistant Professor, Frank H. Netter School of Medicine.
1. “I felt like I was HIT by a bus”- A challenging case of severe headache, due to widespread venous sinus thrombosis.
2. “Tick-ing time bomb”- A rare tick born encephalitis from New England
Dr. Uttara Koul is a board certified Neurologist and Neurointensivist with St. Vincent’s Medical Center and an Assistant Professor with the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine. After completing her medical school in India, she moved to the US in 2017 to pursue Neurology residency at St. Louis University followed by a fellowship in Neurocritical care at Rush University, Chicago. She has a strong interest in quality improvement and bedside teaching in the ICU, vascular and autoimmune neurologic emergencies and medical humanities. She likes to travel, read and write in her free time. She will be presenting two of her own cases from the Neuro ICU.
These sessions are designed to enhance collaborations both between researchers and clinicians. Full members of AINA are highly encouraged to attend the session. Session is open to all members but registration is required.
